adidas Originals Launches NOVA Tubular Apparel Collection
Over the past few days, adidas Originals already introduced three new colorways on the Tubular Doom model, as well as the new Tubular Rise silhouette and Tubular Dawn colorways. The latest push into the Tubular line also includes a full-fledged apparel offering for men and women, labeled NOVA Tubular.
According to adidas Originals, the collection is “informed by archive adidas designs and distinct moments in sportswear history. The NOVA Tubular collection’s unique blend of references culminates as a considered expression of modern style perspectives.”
Stylistic trademarks of the collection include relaxed fits, unconventional color combinations and unexpected details, all delivered on instantly recognizable adidas pieces.
NOVA Tubular Men’s Collection
The men’s offering is all about weather-proof style for everyday wear. It includes windproof tracktops and pants, patterned crewneck sweats and classic jersey pieces.
The colors range from classic heather greys and blacks to mustards and forest greens. Both retro and future forward, it’s a subdued, nostalgic color palette that plays nice with the rest of your wardrobe.
Highlights include a nice retro, terrace-inspired track jacket, as well as a monochromatic grey track combo that will pair nicely with muted footwear colorways loke the Tubular Doom sock.
NOVA Tubular Women’s Collection
The women’s collection also blends technical performance with understated elegance. It presents a selection of feminine silhouettes such as leggings, hoodies, sweats and skirts.
And the colors? A contrasting palette of olives, navy blues and pinks provides a unique point of difference to the men’s range. At the same time, the women’s line takes the same approach to subtle branded details and tonal graphics.
Highlights include loose-fitting tops paired with athletic leggings and the printed message: “You can’t practice attitude.”
And speaking of females, adidas just announced the first female-exclusive Sneaker Exchange between Overkill Shop and Fruition Shop. Collaborating to create two silhouettes with a rebellious edge. Available for pre-release September 23rd and at global Consortium stores September 30th.
