At the beginning of 2009 we launched our first print issue – Sneakers Magazine was born. 10 years down the road, we’re still around delivering sneaker content to you. In order to celebrate the anniversary, we hooked up with adidas and 43einhalb sneaker store to create an event that honored the Nite Jogger release – our cover sneaker – and paid homage to our decade of history as a medium. Center stage was our Augmented Reality feature, for which we provided an iPad in order to check out all the digital details of the mag. Finally, we also raffled a Nite Jogger among all those who found the secret code we incorporated in the app.
Check out our anniversary issue here and also make sure to read up on the special cover artwork and AR app, which we realized in cooperation with Tim Berresheim. You can download our AR app here.
The center-piece consisted of an extra-large cover artwork along with an iPad.
