One of the most ambitious campaigns by adidas now returns for a second round. Paying homage to white leather sneakers, the German brand already released a slew of timeless silhouettes earlier this year. With the new drop of the adidas Home of Classics, we’re now getting to know the creatives that wear them throughout their daily lives.
What makes white leather sneakers so special is their functin as sort of a blank canvas. As wearers put them on, those crispy kicks pick up marks and creases that tell the stories they witnessed over time. Celebrating simplicity, the new collection features all-time classics like the Stan Smith, Superstar, Continental 80, Rivalry Lo and A.R. Trainer. In addition, the Supercourt appears as the highlight silhouette in three new variants. Contemporary color accents spice up the model’s vintage tennis look, while soft leather and Nubuk overlays add structure. An OrthoLite insole then finalizes the Supercourt with an eye on optimized wearing comfort.
For the campaign, adidas also linked up with Wana Limar and Adrian Bianco to document their urban explorations at their favorite spots. Berlin-based Wana works as a host, DJ and video creator. On top of that she’s also a member of the non-profit organization Visions for Childen. Adrian on the other hand recently moved to Tokyo to continue the work on his online magazine Biancissimo. Two interesting paths of life – and the adidas Supercourt is here to document where they lead.
