adidas Releases a Special Continental 80 for Pride Month
Starting June 1, the LGBTQ community celebrates Pride Month and sneaker brands join in with special releases. With the adidas Continental 80 Pride, the Three Stripes give one of their most popular models a subtle makeover.
Acclaimed for its classic sportswear design, this special version of the adidas sneaker features the usual tumbled leather base. Further familiar Continental 80 features include the French terry lining, EVA midsole and an embossed Trefoil heel logo. To contrast the shoe’s off-white base tone, Pride-themed highlights then appear in form of rainbow accents on the lateral stripe and tongue label. Finally, the printed insoles as well as the inner sides of the tongue labels deliver a strong message with the slogan “love unites”.
