adidas Consortium just announced their next collaboration. They teamed up with Danish streetwear label Norse Projects and created the “Layers” pack including a silhouette you might not have expected. Besides the classic adidas Campus 80s PK is there’s the Terrex Agravic. It’s a pure performance outdoor model that hasn’t been touched in a collaboration before.
Both models are inspired by the natural surroundings in Denmark. The Terrex Agravic is reminiscent of the small Danish islands of Fur and Møn, known for their rock formations with layers of different rock types. These are represented by multiple translucent layers which are welded together. There’s also a GORE-TEX® membrane providing high-level weather protection.
The Campus 80s PK was inspired by darker asphalt, often found nearer to the surface of the rock formations. Again, different layers with prime knit and grey accents create an ultra-low-key look.
The adidas Consortium x Norse Projects “Layers” pack is understatement at its best. The brands created an amazing mix of modern performance, subtle look and classic style. The pack will be available on August 11 at Norse Projects and via norseprojects.com. A global release at Consortium retailers worldwide follows on August 19! Meanwhile check out the best adidas Campus 80s collabs!
