Just recently, adidas announced the offical release of the Consortium Runner 4D “Onyx”. Now the Three Stripes brand presents the adidas ALPHAEDGE 4D, which also features Futurecraft technology and drops even sooner.
Manufactured via Carbon’s Digital Light Sythesis process, the midsole is made from light and oxygen. But the distinctive look isn’t just a design choice, it also serves a performance purpose. The highly reactive structure absorbs pressure from all sides and provides an energy return for the wearer. Just like the ever-popular BOOST models, a Continental outsole adds traction and durability to the bottom construction.
The upper then uses the brand’s signature Primeknit material for a sock-like fit. However, the ALPHAEDGE 4D utilizes a TPU-plated FORGEFIBER variant. It maximizes performance and power of the running movement thanks to its overlapping layers and special knit construction.
Finished with an all-white upper color, the sneaker not only caters to runners but also to streetwear heads. Get a closer look at the ALPHAEDGE 4D below and read on to find out how to cop.
