Keeping the momentum of the “Run The Streets” campaign going, Puma is about to drop another highly technical silhouette: Poised to release on March 1, the Herzogenaurach-based footwear brand just announced the Puma B.O.G. Limitless in three colorways: Black, White, and Burnt Olive.
As you probably already expected, B.O.G. is an acronym for one of the brand’s most iconic Trinomic silhouettes: The original Puma Blaze of Glory from the early 1990s. It’s a storied shoe that still enjoys a lot of love and has been the subject of several limited edition collabos and tech updates over the years.
Now, the B.O.G. Limitless takes some of that original “next-level runner” spirit that made the Blaze’ such a game changer and brings it into the present moment: Instead of the original’s mesh panels and foam, the B.O.G. Limitless is built on a contoured sock construction from equally technical and breathable materials.
The lightweight high top features a sock liner entry with a stretchy collar. The flexible upper has a breathable knit vamp, supported by PU overlays and heel cup. The sole is injected with IGNITE foam for shock absorption and comfort, while the overall aesthetic of the monochromatic shoes with duo-tone lacing hits the sweet spot between performance and lifestyle.
The B.O.G. Limitless will release on March 1, 2017, at Puma retailers and online with a €129.95 price tag.
