Turn and face the strange: One of the most unconventional sneaker designs of the past years, the Nike Air Max TR 17 adds a distinct look to the Air Max family. The silhouette of the technical training shoe is reminiscent of a chukka boot, but attains a disrupted look with woven stitches weaved through openings on the lateral and medial, as well as the heel.
The Nike Air Max TR 17’s prime leather upper rests comfortably on full Air Max cushioning while a neoprene inner bootie offers ankle support. Meanwhile, the unconventional stitching is not just for show, either: The loops integrate with an innovative lacing system that brings to mind the athletic lacing on iterations like the Air Max 98.
