24 Kilates x Asics Gel Respector “Virgin Extra”
2016 könnte bei Asics das Jahr einer bisher etwas weniger beachteten Silhouette werden. Asics hat den Gel Respektor in diesem Jahr mit einigen starken Retros und zuletzt sogar zwei Kollaborationen zurück gebracht. 2016 wird schon ganz zu Beginn von einer großartigen Kollabo eingeläutet. Zu Ehren des 10-jährigen Jubiläums von 24 KILATES erscheint der “Virgin Extra” – der Name ist Programm. Die farbliche Inspiration (lila, grün, gelb) kommt von der Farbe der “Arbequina”-Olive, bevor sie später zum Öl gepresst wird.
Die bedruckten Innensohlen, beschriftete Lacetips und ein ganz besonderes Packaging komplettieren die starke Kollabo. Jedes Paar kommt mit einem Beutel, einem Hang-Tag und einer speziell gebrandeten Flasche Olivenöl.
Am 09.01. erscheint der 24 Kilates x Asics Gel Respector “Virgin Extra” bei 24 KILATES in Barcelona und Bangkok, eine Woche später findet der weltweite Release statt.
Just a few months after the re-release of the Asics Gel Respector silhouette, we’re seeing a higher number of colorways and also colabs from week to week. 2016 will start great with a collaboration between Asics and 24 KILATES. The “Virgin Extra” colorway will be released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 24KILATES. Green meets purple meets yellow – the colors are inspired by the “Arbequina” oliv before being used for oliv oil. The insoles are printed, the lace tips feature a special typing and the shoes arrive in a special packaging with a hang tag, a bottle of oliv oil and a bag.
The 24 Kilates x Asics Gel Respector “Virgin Extra” will be release on January 9th exclusively at 24 Kilates in Barcelona and Bangkok. One week later, the worldwide release will take place via selected stores.
