Snipes and Nike joined forces for a great event in Berlin this weekend in order to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Air Force 1 with a big bang. The stage was set for the Snipes x Nike Customization Lab at their store located at Alexanderplatz in Germany’s capital. For three days (November 9th-11th, 2017), it was possible for the winners of an online raffle and select invitees to have a pair of triple white AF1 Mid’s individually designed by one of the following customizers: Tornschuhjette from Hamburg, Lars Trucks and Sebastian Hook from Berlin, Panda Custom Sneakers from Frankfurt and last but not least the great Customs by BB all the way from Roosendaal, Netherlands.
German rappers Megaloh and Prinz Pi were among the lucky people to get an individually designed pair of kicks from one of the customizers at the spot. DJ Clark Kent from New York was on the wheels of steel all night long, providing nothing but good vibes and even Joey Bada$$ stopped by for a quick visit after having parts of his sold out Berlin concert streamed live via the Snipes YouTube channel – thanks to Nike and Snipes for the invitation. And now check out a few images from the event and the amazing customs that were created there.
