Roughly one year after the release of the first Air Zoom LWP retro, Nike released the updated sneaker in several colorways together with Lous Vuitton’s Kim Jones as part of their NikeLab collection – the modernized classic comes back in the OG colorway. The Zoom LWP was the first running shoe that featured Zoom Air in 1995, an ultra-responsive system of cushioning.
German retailer 43einhalb already has the Nike Air Zoom LWP ’16 listed in their “coming soon” section of the online shop – the OG colorway is called “BLACK/CITRUS-WHITE-DEEP VIOLENike Air Zoom LWP ’16T” with the Nike product code: 918226-007. The Nike Air Zoom LWP ’16 features a modern mixture of synthetics, textiles and mesh on the upper and comes with a one-part sock liner.
We don’t have a release date yet, but meanwhile check out the Air Max 97 “Summit White” that’s coming on June 29.
