Hender Scheme and adidas Release Handmade Sneakers
After starting out with unofficial hand-made versions of famous silhouettes like the Air Jordan IV, Japanese custom manufacturer Hender Scheme also ventures into the official realms of footwear as of lately. After teaming up with adidas for a trio of Three Stripes silhouettes in 2017 in the nude tones that are signature to the craftsmen, a new collaboration between both brands emerges for 2018.
Yet again, the NMD, Superstar and Micropacer receive the premium treatment. This time around though, the adidas sneakers are finished in colors that are much closer to the originals. But as usual, the deluxe trainers are handcrafted in Tokyo to ensure outstanding quality – and justify a hefty price tag at that.
