5 Amazing Air Jordan Retros to Release in 2018
If you’re a Jordan head, you’re used to being treated with great retros of past models on the regular. But some years stick out because they’re PACKED with the most coveted re-releases possible – and it looks like 2018 will be such a year. If you were to make a poll on the most popular Jordans, several of these might land a Top 10 spot. And while Nike usually confirms the releases only shortly before the actual launch date, the rumored schedules that float around on the interwebs turn out to be quite acurate most of the time. So even though there’s still some time down the line this year, here are 5 of the Air Jordan Release Dates 2018 that will make Jumpman fans go crazy. (Title image via @little_laces)
Note: As official images are not available yet, the models shown here are the recent Retro releases.
Air Jordan 3 Retro OG “Black Cement”
This one has been confirmed for February a while back – and while a “Black Cement” retro alone would have already caused hype, the return of the “Nike Air” heel logo on this silhouette makes this easily one of the most anticipated Jordan releases of 2018.
Air Jordan 1 High OG Retro “Shadow”
While it’s not as widely popular as your usual Jordan 1 OGs like the Bred, Chicago or Black Toe, the “Shadow” colorway will always be welcomed with open arms by connoiseurs. Last seen in 2013, the Black/White/Medium Grey iteration is slated to return in April 2018.
Air Jordan 13 OG Retro “He Got Game”
Next year marks the 20th anniversary of this all-time classic b-ball flick by director and day-one Jordan head Spike Lee. Starring Denzel Washington as Jake Shuttlesworth, the White/Black-True Red 13s he famously wears in the movie are rumored to release some time around May 2018.
Air Jordan 10 OG Retro “Steel”
Probably the most memorable on-court moment of the Jordan 10 “Steel” was not in an NBA game (as MJ was still on hiatus in 1994), but at the Pippen Classic which was the last match to be played at the old Chicago Stadium back then. The “Steel” colorway is said to be back as part of Jordan Brand’s 2018 summer line-up.
Air Jordan 11 OG Retro “Concord”
Fans been waiting on the return of Concord 11s basically ever since they last been released back in 2011. Now it seems like they will finally be back for the 2018 holiday season – so make sure to save up some cash for these at the end of next year if you’re looking to get a pair.
