This Is What the YEEZY 350 Could Have Looked Like
In what might be go down as one of the greatest comebacks in internet history, Kanye West recently reactivated his Twitter account. As if he never left, Ye was quick to lash out at his former partner brand. But after taking a few shots at the Nike M2k Tekno, he also shared some interesting adidas insights.
adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 – Early Design
Whether you love it or hate, the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 is already one of the most influental shoes in recent years. But like almost any great silhouette, the 350 went through different stages during the design process.
On the pic that Kanye posted to Twitter, we see that the early version differs not so much in its overall aesthetics, but very much in detail from the pair that actually released.
First up, the upper seems to be a sort of suede rather than Primeknit here. It also features a more muted look without the stripe patterns. A pretty interesting detail is unconvential lacing system, which seems to be connected to the asynchronous heel tab.
Another deviation is the sole unit which only uses the 350’s signature ribbed look in the back while going for a smooth structure in the frontal area.
Check out Kanye’s original post below and let us know what you think about the early adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 design.
